Has the agency experienced any major <br /> changes in the past year? Is there a new Executive Director?Are there new <br /> initiatives?) Our organization continues to work to bring this important program to <br /> every student in Orange County with exceptional needs. Each year, the number of <br /> students with special needs increases while resources decrease. We strive to provide <br /> this important program to all classrooms for exceptional children in Orange County in <br /> order to help each student reach their maximum potential. <br /> Our organization has strengthened this last year in the following ways: <br /> • We hired a strong Development Director for our sustainability. <br /> • We continued to work to expand our reach in preschools and elementary and early <br /> childhood programming in order to reach children early in their development. <br /> • We continued to work to develop methods to replicate our program model so we are <br /> able to reach more students. <br /> • We worked to develop tools for caregivers of adults with developmental disabilities <br /> that will offer strategies from some of our weekly programing in order to build pre- <br /> vocational skills such as self-advocacy and self-management. <br /> e) Schedule of Positions (For Entire Agency) <br /> • Full Time Equivalent (FTE) staff will be noted as 1.00; half time as .50; quarter time <br /> as .25, etc. <br /> • Calculate a Full Time Equivalent for all recorded volunteer hours using the following: <br /> Total Volunteer Hours = Volunteer FTE <br /> 2,080 <br /> # of FTE - Full-Time Paid Positions: 5 <br /> # of FTE - Paid Part-Time Positions: 1 <br /> # of Volunteers: 30 # of FTE -Volunteers: 0 <br /> f) Living Wage <br /> Does this agency pay permanent employees a minimum living wage?
