z7 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Housing Rehabilitation Contractors <br />FROM: Orange County Housing and Community Development <br />DATE: February 7, 2006 <br />RE: 2712 Mill Creek Road, Mebane -Mary Bradshaw <br />Work Writeup -Addendum 1 <br />Listed below are changes to the Lead Remediation work wrietup and bid package dated <br />1/26/06 for the referenced project. All other conditions and descriptions remain the <br />same. Please be reminded that bids will be opened and read aloud on February 21, 2006 <br />at 3:OOP.M. in the Housing and Community Development Deparhnent office at 300 W. <br />Tryon Street, Hillsborough, N,C. 27278. The changes are as follows: <br />D. EXTERIOR SIDING <br />1. Change description to read as follows: <br />Replace damaged material on both exterior gable vents of house,. <br />NOTE: After removal work is complete, if' further damage is <br />discovered the Owner, Contractor and Rehabilitation Specialist <br />will meet to review the work, detem~ine a course of action and, if <br />necessary, a cost for any additional work.. Wrap existing wood <br />trim with Tyvek. Supply and install new vinyl vented soffit <br />material, with all associated,j-channel and fitting components, over <br />both existing gable vents in a horizontal orientation. Supply and <br />instal] new pre-finished white aluminum coil stock over remaining <br />existing wood trim, including proper transition to new gable vents, <br />adjacent new coil stock and existing brick siding. Style and color <br />to match existing as close as practical..
