Additionally, Behavioral Insights intends to provide other services to identify client <br /> needs and link clients to needed services. <br /> c) Types of Services the Agency Provides (bullet format): <br /> • Certified Batterer Intervention Program — providing 26-week curriculum and notifying court <br /> officials of compliance by the participant <br /> • Anger Management classes <br /> • Strong Fathers Program — a strengths-based intervention for fathers overcoming cycles of <br /> family violence referred by child protective services or court personnel <br /> d) Agency's History with Providing These Services: <br /> Behavioral Insights has prepared risk needs assessments and individualized <br /> recommendations for psycho-social issues interfering with pro-social living for more than <br /> twenty years. Current Executive Director, Kathryn Bauman, co-wrote the Strong Fathers <br /> Program in 2009 and has directed the program's operations in Durham since 2013. <br /> e) Other Pertinent Agency Information (Ex. Has the agency experienced any major changes <br /> in the past year? Is there a new Executive Director?Are there new initiatives?) <br /> Behavioral Insights, Inc. received state certification to provide Batterer Intervention <br /> Programming in November of 2016. Kathryn Bauman replaced Joyce Kuhn as Executive <br /> Director on January 17, 2017.
