TIMELINE <br /> The Board of Education of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools is soliciting proposals <br /> for custodial cleaning services to be performed in all district schools and facilities. The <br /> RFP process is outlined below. <br /> RFP Timeline <br /> April 8-9,2017 Advertisement in publications. RFP emailed to firms requesting information. <br /> April 12-13,2017 CSMC (custodial services management company) representatives may survey <br /> schools. District will schedule tours of facilities to all requesting contractors. <br /> Number of contractors will dictate length and number of schools visited. Visitation <br /> dependent upon district schedule. Call Facilities Management at 967-8211 ext. <br /> 28221 to schedule an appointment or email request to Bill Mullin at <br /> bmullin @chccs.k12.nc.us. <br /> May 2,2017 CSMCs submit proposals. Sealed proposals must be received by 2:00 PM on April <br /> 2:00 PM 4,2017. CSMC candidates may <br /> be invited to give formal presentation. District Administration conducts follow-up <br /> discussions with selected CSMC. Contract reviews by District's attorney. Facilities <br /> Management prepares proposal for Board of Education review. <br /> June 1,2017 Board of Education reviews recommendation for CSMC.
