6. CSMC contract working hours are from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm on weekdays.
Any weekend work or deviation from these working hours must receive prior
approved by the Facilities Management Office. CSMC will provide the district
with a timed schedule of when cleaning services will be provided so lighting and
air systems can be scheduled.
7. For the purpose of the bids, it can be assumed that 90% of the floor area is hard
surface and 10%is carpet.
8. CSMC must provide all equipment required to perform cleaning specifications
and provide a list of said equipment. The contract MUST include providing walk
behind autoscrubbers at each location that will be used for the daily autoscrub of
hard surface floors.
9. The district will require detailed information regarding the number and identity of
CSMC staff and proposed hours of operation. Employee background checks are
required for all CSMC staff in compliance with the State of North Carolina's
Lunsford Act.
10. The CSMC will use only Green Seal Certified products, with the exception of
disinfectants. Disinfectants must be non-chlorine bleach. The CSMC will
provide a list of all products to the district. Environmentally responsible cleaning
supplies and processes are preferable.
11. CSMC will be responsible for securing the site at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities are to include, but not limited to the closing and locking of all
interior and exterior doors, turn-off lights, and close windows.
12. All problems and/or damage to the facility are to be promptly reported directly to
the principal or the principal's designee.
13. CSMC is required to maintain an onsite MSDS binder for all chemicals used in
the cleaning process. CSMC will provide the district central office with all
MSDS at the commencement of the contract.
14. Cleaning services are required for twelve months. Special project work is to be
performed during summer months when the building is being prepared for the
ensuing school year or during winter break in December. Summer school
programs, community use of facilities, and/or capital improvements, may impact
special project work; therefore, special project activities must be coordinated with
Facilities Management.
15. CSMC will provide labor to move and re-install furniture when floors are being
refinished.
4
10 7 of 18
