• Mr. Link will contact DTCC President Dr. Phail Wynn, Jr. to initiate a four- way.joint <br />planning process to resolve numerous issues relating to design and programming at <br />the DTCC satellite campus. <br />• Drs. Caraway and Pedersen will generate a written plan for the middle college <br />program that will clarify the school districts' needs with respect to space and <br />programming at DTCC. <br />• Systemic or programmatic work on creating measurable opportunities for students in <br />each district to participate in programs in the other district that are not now currently <br />available to them is contingent upon Dr. Grumet's findings. <br />4/26/04 <br />• Facilitated meeting of School Boards and BOCC. <br />• School Boards present 3/22 consensus to BOCC for feedback. <br />4/20/04 <br />• Chairs, Manager, and Superintendents develop meeting plan for 4/26/04 meeting of School <br />Boards and BOCC. <br />• Group identifies ten additional items needing attention by the three Boards, to supplement the <br />consensus reached on 3/22. <br />.3/22/04 <br />• Second joint meeting of the School Boards. <br />• Consensus reached on ten areas for cross- district collaboration <br />3/.3/04 <br />First joint meeting of the two School Boards. <br />2/17/04 <br />• Chairs, Manager, and Superintendents agree on 18 "suggested areas of collaboration" for <br />joint School Boards consideration. <br />• Group agrees that collaboration across the two school districts should, where appropriate, <br />have measurable starting points ( "benclunarks "), measurable goals, and measurable <br />outcomes,. <br />• Group agrees on desired outcomes for the 3/3 and 3/22 joint School Boards meetings. <br />2/10/04 <br />• Chairs, Manager, and Superintendents agree to procedure for approving and distributing <br />meeting notes and for responding to media inquiries. <br />• Group drafts a matrix identifying which jurisdictions are interested in exploring what areas of <br />collaboration. <br />1/27/04 <br />• First facilitated meeting of Chairs, Manager and Superintendents <br />• Group adopts meeting ground rules, agrees upon a definition of collaboration. <br />• Each group member shares personal thoughts on how satisfied he or she is with current state <br />of collaboration across the two school districts. <br />• Group begins list of possible areas for cross- jurisdiction collaboration <br />
