Our past and ongoing collaborative relationships with numerous <br /> organizations, to ensure necessary services for our clients, include local law enforcement <br /> agencies, the District Attorney's Office, the Orange County Department of Social Services <br /> (DSS), Inter-Faith Council (IFC), Legal Aid of North Carolina, UNC Hospital's Beacon Child <br /> and Family Program, the Orange County Rape Crisis Center, Freedom House, UNC Office <br /> of the Dean of Students, UNC School of Law's Domestic Violence Advocacy Project <br /> (DVAP), El Centro Hispano, El Futuro, NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV), <br /> and domestic violence agencies in neighboring counties. <br /> Some specific examples of ongoing collaborative efforts include: <br /> • Over the past 3.5 years, Compass Center has successfully reinstituted the Orange <br /> County Domestic Violence Task Force.
