Manager, 245-2300 <br />PURPOSE: To consider a proposed Community Advisory Committee that would advise the <br />Board of Commissioners and County Management on SportsPlex operations <br />BACKGROUND: Now that Orange County owns the SportsPlex facility, it has been suggested <br />that the County establish a Community Advisory Committee to be the conduit far advice, <br />feedback, and suggestions from the public to the Board and Manager's Office. <br />A draft proposal is attached for consideration. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: No director immediate cost is associated with creating the proposed <br />Community Advisory Committee. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board discuss the proposed <br />Orange County SportsPlex Community Advisory Committee and provide direction to staff. <br />
