Expense Description Amount Direct reimbursement to child care providers serving CCSA Scholarship children $5,250 Program Services Outline the critical services(activities)the agency will employ to attain the Anticipated Outcomes below,by June 30,2018. • Accept applications from Orange County families seeking assistance with child care for approximately 120 children birth to 12 years old. • Determine family-eligibility based on family income and activity requirements. Income requirements are based on median income levels for Orange County andfamilies are required to be working, looking for work, or attending school/training programs. • Award scholarships based on enrollment priorities and program guidelines. Families are awarded scholarships based on greatest need (i.e., lowest income). Enrollment priorities include homeless families, teen parents, and children with special needs. Priorities also include children residing in the Family Success Alliance priority Zones 4 and 6 and families affiliated with UNC-CH. • Assist families who have been awarded scholarships with finding and selecting high-quality child care. Children receiving scholarships are required to be placed in 4-5 star licensed child care facilities. • Reimburse licensed, 4-5 star child care programs monthly for care used by children on scholarship Anticipated Outcomes The Anticipated Results column must include quantifiable results in the form of number of persons/units served within Orange County, only(all Towns and municipalities). If you use percentages, you must also provide the total number of participants within that measure's description or for an earlier performance measure.
