Income requirements are <br /> based on median income levels for Orange County andfamilies are required to be working, looking for <br /> work, or attending school/training programs. <br /> • Award scholarships based on enrollment priorities and program guidelines. Families are awarded <br /> scholarships based on greatest need (i.e., lowest income). Enrollment priorities include homeless <br /> families, teen parents, and children with special needs. Priorities also include children residing in the <br /> Family Success Alliance priority Zones 4 and 6 and families affiliated with UNC-CH. <br /> • Assist families who have been awarded scholarships with finding and selecting high-quality child care. <br /> Children receiving scholarships are required to be placed in 4-5 star licensed child care facilities. <br /> • Reimburse licensed, 4-5 star child care programs monthly for care used by children on scholarship <br /> Anticipated Outcomes <br /> The Anticipated Results column must include quantifiable results in the form of number of persons/units served within Orange County, <br /> only(all Towns and municipalities).
