This includes direct responsibility for <br /> facilities, including climate control, accession and dleaccession of artifacts, maintenance <br /> of archival databases, and establishment and execution of best gallery exhibit practices. <br /> Interpreting the county's history for the public through exhibits, tours, in-house and <br /> outreach programs, public lectures, and special events. The director is responsible for <br /> developing educational programs for K-12 students, for both outreach and in-museum <br /> experiences, for developing and presentin t temporary and '• •rrnanent exhibitions, and <br /> for creating and executing all museum events. <br /> Administering the museum in a manner that will enhance its assets, staff, and programs, <br /> to support its role as an important community cultural resource.
