The artist residency will share themes to better prepare the <br /> students for the performance "NAME OF PERFORM '11\ICE"at The <br /> Arts Center on DATE OF PEt ['OW IANCE. <br /> The Teaching Artist will instruct a five-day residency integrating creative <br /> activities into classwork to enhance the curriculum. <br /> We welcome you to come observe the last residency session on xxxx so <br /> you can see what your child has learned. The times for each class are as <br /> follows: xxxx and xxxx in Room XXX. <br /> This wonderful partnership is providing the opportunity for your child to <br /> further tap into their imagination, creativity and innovation. Studies have <br /> proven that arts education enhances cultural appreciation and awareness; <br /> provides opportunities for self expression; is a meaningful way to bridge <br /> and understand difficult abstractions; improves academic achievement, <br /> develops critical thinking skills for evaluation and problem solving and <br /> provides a means for every student to learn.
