Instead, the PTA seeks to promote the <br /> programs to teachers and parents, with the hope and expectation that they will engage students in additional <br /> discussion about their experiences. <br /> In order to encourage synergies with the educational curriculum, teachers are informed of the Cultural Arts <br /> Assemblies at the beginning of the school year and then again reminded of the Assembly seven to ten days in <br /> advance of the performance. When the artists provide additional materials such curriculum supplements or <br /> website links,these are provided to Ephesus teachers both through email communication and via the PTA <br /> weekly e-newsletter. When possible,the PTA seeks direct feedback from the teachers as to whether their <br /> students were engaged by the program and what they took away from the experience/s. <br /> For parents, this involves announcing Assemblies at PTA meetings, providing links to information in PTA <br /> newsletters and other parent communication about performances and artists, and discussing whether <br /> children responded to the performances at PTA meetings or at informal gatherings. .
