2 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Lease rate is $8.64 per square foot. County would receive <br /> $1,227.33 per month, or a total of $29,455.92 for the two year lease period. Should the first <br /> renewal option be executed, the County would receive an additional $14,727.96 for the third <br /> year. Seal the Seasons has agreed to significantly improve the interiors of the County <br /> properties (new standard commercial floor coverings, paint, ceiling tile, etc.) as part of this <br /> Lease Agreement. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE GOALS: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br /> this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding necessary <br /> for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for themselves and their <br /> dependents. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1) approve a two year Lease Agreement with Seal the Seasons, Inc. for 1,704 square feet <br /> of administrative office space within Suites 105 and 106 of the County owned Bentley <br /> Building located at 501 West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill; and <br /> 2) authorize the Chair to execute the Resolution for Lease and the Lease Agreement upon <br /> final County Attorney review. <br />
