In April of 2012 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of <br /> the bold French ballet, "The Rite of Spring," Carolina Performing Arts held a year of <br /> performances, which included 11 commissions of new work and nine world premieres, <br /> interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations all over the UNC-CH campus. Commissioned <br /> to photograph the year's worth of events, 15,000 images were created and catalogued that <br /> documented the commemoration. Images were published in The New York Times, The Wall <br /> Street Journal and on the NPR web site. <br /> • The Women's Issue, created environmental portraits of 22 women chosen for the <br /> "Women's <br /> Issue" of both Chapel Hill and Durham Magazines in 2015. <br /> PROFESSIONAL EXPE IENCE <br /> 0 2001 to Present: Principal Photographer and Owner at KPO Photo, <br /> O June 1999 to January 2001 : Writer, Photographer and Spanish-Speaking Educator at The <br /> University of North Carolina Highway Safety Research Center in Chapel Hill, NC. <br /> Responsibilities included writing, photographing and designing the HSRC Annual Report and <br /> press releases.
