In this way, the arts continue to <br /> be an economic engine for the Town of Hillsborough and Orange County. <br /> The Art Walk is a major driver for artist exposure and art work sales. Offer a description of intended participants/audience, including estimated numbers and racial and <br /> cultural composition. For school applications please include the demographic breakdown of the <br /> student body, as well as the percentage of students on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. <br /> Hillsborough Art Walk Last Fridays has over 1200 people of a wide diversity of racial and cultural <br /> backgrounds. During the extended season, we estimate 600-800 people attend the Art Walk. The <br /> attendance is steadily growing. The Art Walk now has 18 different venues. The Hillsborough Art Walk <br /> is held on the last Friday of each month from 6 — 9 pm from January through November. We are <br /> continuing to refine our statistic gathering methods. <br /> 5. Describe the location where project will take place. <br /> The Artwalk is held in and around the downtown Hillsborough area. <br /> 6. Explain all project activities. <br /> Fed by ongoing events like Last Fridays, River Park Concert and holiday activities, regional artists <br /> exhibiting their works in Hillsborough galleries invite their collectors and Art Walk followers to <br /> Hillsborough for the event and enjoy the many merchants.
