<br /> artist UNITED is a c011ective of,artists from the Triangle area joining together to voice a theme on limy humans treat each
<br /> other.The artist UNITED project, The Walls We Build„” will:raise awareness of how..peopie treat one other.14;1Q will
<br /> bring together galleries,MUM?LUTLS,schools,and artists to present their work,du„ring art walk events in Carrborn. Chapel
<br /> blill. Durham,and 14,illsborough„ with a goal to,also partner with Pittsboro,and Raleigh, in June 2018. This will allow for
<br /> prograinming on the',Find'Friday, Second Friday,.Ill ird Friday, and Last Friday art'walks, the Walls We Build" is

<br /> 'Because the goal of this phiject is to help break down the,social„ economic,and political walls we builds it is imperative that
<br /> we include artists from diverse races,ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. We anticipate including il wide range of voices,
<br /> including,African American, Latino, and inimigrant artists,as well as those,finom,diverse religious backgrounds;we seek to
<br /> also incluck established and up-and-coming artists as a way of also building bridges across age groups and levels of
<br /> accomplishment.In order to meet these goals, we will organize as series of acaandtahle discussions to engage the regional art
<br /> community and network to identify participating artists and venues, We are confident we will feature artists from diverse
<br /> backgrounds in the June 2018 activities, as this is an essential aspect of the project. We will evaluate our success by the
<br /> participation and attendance of a diverse group of artists and audience.
<br /> By partnering with nearby counties arid supported by a cross marketing campaign this project will bring greater attention
<br /> to the artists and venues in Orange County, as well as the diverse talents in our comniunity,The artist,UNITED piuject,
