<br /> Sara Hirsch, LCSW-A, Boomerang Program Manager, is a clinical social worker and experiential
<br /> educator, with a background in working with adolescents and young adults in a variety of
<br /> educational and clinical settings. Hirsch holds a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University, an
<br /> MS in Environmental Science from Antioch University New England, and a MSW from the
<br /> University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before coming to Boomerang, Hirsch worked at a
<br /> variety of educational organizations in Maine, Vermont, and North Carolina. She is passionate
<br /> about building positive, supportive relationships with young people, and finding ways to make
<br /> them laugh.
<br /> Sonia Frischemeier, Boomerang Director of Operations, has worked for over 20 years with
<br /> international and local organizations on project and program management, and fundraising.
<br /> She has a MA in International Relations and Economics. With two children in Chapel Hill-
<br /> Carrboro City Schools, she is dedicated to broadening all students' experiences by bringing
<br /> cultural enrichment that inspire and educate. Sonia previously worked as a grant writer,
<br /> consultant and coach for local area non-profits, after a career in international trade
<br /> development spanning Europe, Asia and Africa.
