Artist involved in the project <br /> Sonny Kelly is an African-American artist and teacher with over a decade of youth work in <br /> acting, poetry, and spoken word. Over the last year, he has led workshops at Boomerang on a <br /> pro bono basis, leading students through self-expression activities that involved writing, spoken <br /> word and performing/public speaking. He has the ability to connect with young people and <br /> inspire them to flex their creative muscle. <br /> Sonny will be responsible for delivering 25 spoken word/writing workshops over the course of <br /> the 2017-18 school year, and will be reimbursed at the rate of$100/workshop. <br /> 8. Describe how the pr ject will be publicized and promoted to reach intended participants. <br /> Boomerang will be providing these workshops to students who attend our programming. <br /> 9.
