Senior Citizen Health <br />Promotion Program Grant <br />Project Ordinance <br />(INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Donna Dean Coffey, (919) 245-2151 <br />PURPOSE: To approve budget ordinance and grant project ordinance amendments far fiscal <br />year2005-06. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Department of Social Services <br />The Department of Social Services has received donations totaling $575 from citizens that <br />are set-aside in a special Adoption Enhancement Fund (outside the General Fund). These <br />funds, received through the Triangle Community Foundation, will help send foster care <br />children to summer camp, This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these <br />donated funds for the above stated purpose. (See Attachment 1, column #1) <br />Health Department <br />2, The Orange County Health Department's Division of Environmental Health has received <br />notification of additional State funds of $8,295 in Food and Lodging inspection revenues. <br />These funds reflect aperformance-based distribution of FY 2004-05 Food and Lodging Fees <br />based on the County's compliance with mandated inspecticns of food and lodging <br />establishments. These funds will be used to purchase technology equipment for the food <br />and lodging inspectors, This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional <br />funds, (See Attachment 1, column #2) <br />
