Orange County Board of Adjustment—Appointments <br /> The Board will consider making appointments to the Orange County Board of <br /> Adjustment. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: <br /> Randy Herman said he is an applicant, and would like the Board's support for the <br /> alternate position. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> appoint the following to the Orange County Board of Adjustment: <br /> • Appointment to a first full term (Position #2) "At-Large" representative for Dr. Barry Katz <br /> expiring 06/30/2020. <br /> • Appointment of Randy Herman to a first full term (Position #4) "At-Large Alternate" <br /> representative BOCC Appointee 06/30/2020. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Rich , seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos to <br /> appoint Holly Safi to Position #7 (currently designated as an "At Large Planning Board" position <br /> — but this position has been vacant since 2013- and according to staff, no one from the planning <br /> board has stepped up to volunteer for this position) with a term expiration date of 6/30/2019. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> e. Orange County Housing Authority—Appointments <br /> The Board considered making appointments to the Orange County Housing Authority. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Marcoplos, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br /> appoint the following to the Orange County Housing Authority: <br /> • Appointment to a second full term (position #4) "At-Large" for Diane Beecham expiring <br /> 06/30/2022. <br /> • Appointment to a first full term (position #5) "At-Large" for Daniel Bullock expiring <br /> 06/30/2022. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Chair Dorosin suggested that the Clerk's office contact some of this evening's public <br /> speakers that are residents of affordable housing units, to serve in the vacant positions of <br /> "Resident Member" (2 vacancies), or staff from the organizations that provide affordable <br /> housing such as Habitat or Empowerment, Inc. <br /> f.
