8 Page 2 of 2 Linda Williamson Mebane Board of Adjustment Background, education and experience relevant to this board: I have lived in the Orange County area of Mebane for 20 years after my husband and I bought our home. I have a Masters of Business degree and a Masters of Arts degree in Arts Management. I grew up in Hillsborough from the 5th grade through my college years at UNC Chapel Hill. The fact that I ve not been in the building/develoopment sector will allow me to bring an objective voice to this board and the hearing of special requests/zoning exceptions. Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: I think it is very important for Orange County to be represented in the activities undertaken by Mebane and to join with Mebane to grow this area effectively and responsibly. This area is very desirable for business and residents and we need to make sure development is done equitably and with our common purpose.
