2 <br /> ORD-2017-019 <br /> Section. 8-2.-Regulating the Hours of Sales of Alcohol on Sundays. <br /> (a)This Section is enacted pursuant to the authority of Session Law 2017-87 (North Carolina <br /> General Statute 153A-145.7) and North Carolina General Statute 18B-1004(c). <br /> (b) The sale of malt beverages, unfortified wine, fortified wine, and mixed beverages is allowed <br /> in Orange County beginning at 10 A.M. on Sunday pursuant to the licensed premises' permit <br /> issued under G.S 18B— 1001. <br /> (c) Any policy, resolution, or ordinance conflicting with this Section 8-2 is repealed. <br /> (d) This ordinance is effective when adopted. <br />
