RESOLUTION g <br />OF THE <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />TO APPROVE A SPECIAL USE PERMIT, CLASS A <br />FOR <br />PARTNERSHIP ACADEMY ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL FOR ORANGE COUNTY <br />Date: April 10, 2006 <br />Applicant/Owner: Orange County Board of Education <br />The Orange County Board of County Commissioners hereby makes the findings <br />recommended by the Planning Board, which findings are attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A, and approves an application submitted <br />by Orange County for a Special Use Permit, Class A for a Alternative School and the <br />site plan drawings, January 23, 2006, including #C0.1, #C1.0; #C1.1 ( "revised <br />2/28/06 "), #C2.0, # C2 ,1, #C3.0, #C4.0, #C4.1, C5,0; #L1.0, E1.0, #A1.0, #RMP1.0 <br />( "revised 2/28/06), (hereafter collectively as the "plan" or "plans ") applicable to the <br />following property and subject to the following enumerated conditions: <br />Property located along the north side of East Storey Lane and being further identified in <br />the Orange County Land Records Office by all of Parcel Identification Number 9872 -79- <br />0397 containing 20.8 acres more or less. The property is identified by the following <br />legal description: <br />Being all of a certain tract of land described in General Warranty Deed DB 2801 <br />PG 509 (Orange County Registry). The purpose of the General Warranty Deed <br />was to combine or merge the following two tracts or parcels of land into one <br />single tract or parcel of land for all purposes. <br />FORMERLY PIN # 9872 -69 -8411 <br />BEGINNING at an iron stake in the property line on the east side of N.C. <br />Highway No. 86, at the southwest corner of Lot No. 2, as shown on the plat <br />hereinafter referred to, and running thence along and with the south line of Lot <br />No, 2 South 870 30' East 958 feet to a rock and pointers, the southeast corner of <br />Lot No. 2; thence South 4° 37' West 574 feet to an iron stake in the property line <br />on the north side of Storey Lane; thence South 870 56' West 861 feet to an iron <br />stake, the point of intersection of the property line on the north side of Storey <br />Lane with the property line on the east side of N.C. Highway No. 86; thence <br />along and with the property line on east side of N.C. Highway No. 86 North 40 40' <br />West 642 feet to the stake, the place and point of BEGINNING, containing 12.66 <br />acres, more or less, and being Lot No. 3, Section No. 3, as shown on the plat of <br />the property of SHEPHERD D. STOREY and known as ACRES OF NEW HOPE <br />by Robert A.
