A N N E R S
I am writing to request an exception to the Special Use Permit requirement for a
traffic study on the Alternative School project.
The traffic generated at the site will be minimal since there will be a limited
number of employees and students. It is anticipated that, at this time, the full
capacity for the facility wild be four administrators and 50 students., The traffic
generated would be under 100 trips a day.
The proximity of this school to the existing middle school further reduces the
number of trips for administrators or parents who may have appointments at
both locations. Access to the site is from Storey Lane, which is a private drive
located within the School property; therefore, there is no direct impact on the
public right -of -way (NC 86).
Due to the small size of the facility, and its limited impact on the public right-of-
Due
we request that an exception be made to the need to provide a traffic
study.
Please call me if you need additional information at
Sincerely,
L.
cc: Kenneth E.
