He asked if the <br /> 16 Board would deem it appropriate to send this analysis on to the North Carolina Association of <br /> 17 County Commissioners (NCACC). <br /> 18 Commissioner Jacobs requested that the Department of Environment, Agriculture, <br /> 19 Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) make a presentation to the Board in the fall about the Lands <br /> 20 Legacy program. <br /> 21 Commissioner Jacobs said something went from the OUTBoard directly to the <br /> 22 Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) agenda, without the Board or the Town of Carrboro <br /> 23 seeing it first, and this process should be improved. <br /> 24 Commissioner Jacobs reviewed the Deficiency Analysis PowerPoint at the <br /> 25 Commissioners' places, which looks at the changes between now and 2045. He said page 14 <br /> 26 refers to regional travel times and is particularly interesting. He said alternatives are being <br /> 27 studied, such as managed motorways or smart highways, which the MPO will be studying. <br /> 28 Commissioner Rich said the one-year celebration of the Cedar Grove Community <br /> 29 Center was held this past Saturday. <br /> 30 Commissioner Burroughs said she had no comments. <br /> 31 Commissioner Price asked if the agenda review committee could find a creative process <br /> 32 to get advisory chair reports to the Board of County Commissioners. She said this does not <br /> 33 have to be a long report, and could be more akin to a flyer or a poster. <br /> 34 Commissioner Price said the Raise the Age Bill has been placed in the budget, and <br /> 35 there may be some legislators who support the bill but do not support the budget.
