FY 2017-18 Fire District Tax Rates, Pg. 355 <br /> 23 Travis Myren made the following PowerPoint presentation, and facilitated discussion <br /> 24 between the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and the Fire Districts: <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Budget Work Session #2 <br /> 27 County Fire Districts <br /> 28 Public Safety <br /> 29 General Government <br /> 30 Support Services <br /> 31 June 8, 2017 <br /> 32 Southern Human Services Center <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Fire District Recommendations (chart) <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Fire District Recommendations <br /> 37 • Revenue neutral rates used as a point of comparison <br /> 38 • District requests <br /> 39 o Cedar Grove — <br /> 40 — One cent increase for replacement fire engine at Station #2 <br /> 41 o Damascus & Southern Triangle <br /> 42 — Contract with North Chatham Fire Department for fire protection <br /> 43 — Agreement provides for consistent tax rate between the two <br /> 44 counties <br /> 45 — Increases of 0.09 cents in Damascus and 0.34 cents in Southern <br /> 46 Triangle to 10.30 cents in both Districts <br /> 47 o Eno <br /> 48 — One cent increase for tanker replacement and Station #1 <br /> 49 renovation which included a garage building <br /> 50 o Little River <br />
