3 <br /> The duties and responsibilities of the 4-H Program <br /> Assistant position were compared to other <br /> County positions with similar responsibilities <br /> for the coordination of programs, and recruiting and <br /> training of program volunteers. <br /> Based on this review and comparison with other <br /> positions it is recommended that a new class of 4-H <br /> Program Assistant be established at Salary Grade 62 . <br /> Attached is the class specification. <br /> Upon approval of the new class, the Personnel <br /> Department will begin recruitment for the 4-H <br /> Program Assistant. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends the Board amend the Orange <br /> County Classification and Pay Plan by: <br /> - Changing the salary grade assignment for the <br /> class of Deputy County Clerk from Salary <br /> Grade 64 to Salary Grade 65 and <br /> - Adding the class of 4-H Program Assistant at <br /> Salary Grade 62. <br />
