DocuSign Envelope ID:786DDAD1-F07A-4D40-ABEA-619502C777DE <br /> ATTACHMENT C <br /> "Duke Energy Easement" <br /> SCOPE of SERVICES <br /> Prepare an easement plat for a new, permanent power line easement as required to <br /> accommodate the relocation of power poles and overhead power lines owned by Duke <br /> Energy crossing property owned by Seven Mile Farm, LLC (GRANTOR). The new <br /> easement is situated on GRANTOR'S Tract G, as identified on that certain plat recorded in <br /> Plat Book 83, Page 147, and acquired by Seven Mile Farm, LLC by general warranty deed <br /> dated January 31, 2000 recorded in Book 2037, Page 91 (PIN #9844831368), located on <br /> the south side of West Ten Road in Orange County west of Buckhorn Road. To <br /> accomplish this, we propose providing the following scope of services: <br /> 1. Extend previously established geodetic survey control to the project area tied to <br /> NAD83 (2011) and NAVD88 (GEOID12B) for field surveying and mapping efforts. <br /> 2. Conduct a field survey of the existing Duke Energy facilities affected by the <br /> proposed relocation and to be covered by the new Duke Energy easement. <br /> 3. Perform deed research to establish easement location, property boundaries and <br /> right-of-way lines for the parcel owned by Seven Mile Farm LLC. <br /> 4. Prepare the easement plat in accordance with Duke Energy guidelines [plat(s) to be <br /> on 8 1/2"x 11" sheet or sheets] suitable for recordation as an attachment to a deed <br /> (prepared by others). <br /> 5. Submit plat to Orange County for their review and distribution to Duke Energy and <br /> Seven Mile Farm, LLC for coordination. <br /> 6. Incorporate review comments into a final plat and description as appropriate. <br /> BASIS OF COMPENSATION — BASIC SERVICES <br /> McGill will provide the above services at the Lump Sum Fee of $2,800. Invoicing will not <br /> take place until such services have been fully completed. Services will commence <br /> immediately upon authorization. Initial plat submittal will not exceed 2 weeks from notice <br /> to proceed. <br /> Page 1 <br />
