The older sections of the Central <br /> Efland Phase 1 Sewer System have been divided up into five (5)different cleaning phases, composed of <br /> one or more segments or areas. Phases 1 &2 have been cleaned previously. This solicitation is only for <br /> Phases 3, 4 & 5 as depicted on Exhibit B. Please be aware that there are other existing sewer lines in <br /> the exhibit area but they have not been shown for clarity. Orange County has a detailed sewer atlas for <br /> the Efland Sewer System, which is available upon request for vendor reference. <br /> Orange County requests your competitive quotation to furnish the service(s) listed below for the Orange <br /> County Engineer, Hillsborough, NC. Due to budgetary limitations, the County Engineer seeks flexibility <br /> with respect to when each of these phases gets cleaned. Therefore, three timeframes are provided and <br /> your quotation for each is requested. As noted, more than one phase may be authorized at a time, <br /> subject to availability of funds. You will also note you are requested to provide a unit price up to the total <br /> shown. The intention is to contract for the actual length cleaned based on the unit price provided, not to <br /> exceed the total shown.
