5 <br /> 4. PROGRAM INCOME <br /> if program income i s earned during the grant period, you must comply with the <br /> requirements i F Part 200.307. Costs incidental to the generation of program <br /> income may be deducted from gross income to determine net program income, <br /> provided these o sts have not been charged to the project costs as grant or matching <br /> funds. <br /> 5. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> You must administer the grant in accordance with the approved Scope of Work. <br /> Agency comments and required changes, if any, must be implemented in the project. <br /> If the Scope of Work indicates you will sub-contract any portion of the project <br /> activities,then you agree not to turn the responsibility of the project over to the <br /> contracted party and you will continue to oversee and control the project through <br /> completion. The technical.assistance component of your project indicates the s of <br /> a subcontracted party, this information also needs to be reflected in your Post award <br /> duties noted in item 17. <br /> Any proposed changes in the Scope of Work must be p proved in writing by the <br /> Agency. <br /> Should your project fall behind the schedule i n i at d in the Scope of Work, you <br /> may request an extension of time to complete the project. You must notify the <br /> Agency in riti at least 10 days prior to the original expiration date and provide <br /> explanation for your request to extend the expiration date, including a revised budget <br /> and timeline for project completion. <br /> The Agency may, t its discretion (not appealable) and under certain conditions, <br /> consider a one-time extension of the pirati n date of the award for up to 12 <br /> months. This one-time extension may not be exercised merely for the purpose of <br /> using unobligated balances, but must be related to circumstances beyond your <br /> control that prevented completion of the project on schedule.
