Through working together community members will build capacity to
support the aging population and make Orange County a great place to age well.
The UNC School of Public Health - Health Policy and Management Capstone Team and
Melissa Hunter, a UNC Graduate School of Social Work Intern, for their assistance in helping
create the plan that will be used to guide aging services for the next five years.
In addition to guiding the County, this planning process has been shared with other
communities as a model for creating an aging plan for their communities.
