DocuSign Envelope ID:813A5323-29B6-4DDD-A2B8-22B7F4A4A68C
County of Orange, NC RFP#5183
7.0 PROJECT APPROACH
CONTRACT TRANSITION
In an ongoing effort to be the premier environmental services company, Clean Harbors strives to
provide the smoothest contract transition period. To that effect,we have used the lessons learned
from over 32 years of industry experience to develop a near seamless transition procedure.
Clean Harbors will assign some of our existing CleanPack®Chemists and Technicians to work at
the collection facility while we begin interviewing candidates for the onsite person. Each
selected candidate will be given a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug
screening. Upon favorable results the applicants are hired and then trained on your programs and
procedures.
Upon Contract execution,Clean Harbors will perform the following tasks prior to the first day
our staff work at either of the collection sites:
® Equip our staff with Facility access resources (as needed) in the form of security badges,
keys, etc.
10 Designate parking spaces for our employee'personal and/or Company vehicles.
d With the County's approval, create a Microsoft Outlook Distribution List to facilitate
easy communications between you and Clean Harbors. All Clean Harbors' personnel
will have their own Company e-mail accounts.
to Set up a meeting with County representatives to discuss your site-specific training and/or
health and safety requirements. Clean Harbors will then prepare a detailed, site-specific
Operations Manual. The Operations Manual will be made available to you for review
and comment as needed; and upon approval, the documentation shall be physically
located at the each collection site.
Copy existing profiles from the previous contractor over and expedite approval. Create
new profiles if necessary.
Company Confidential 20 wnrw.cleanharbors.com
