Benedict, AICP, Planning & Inspections Director <br /> FROM: Allison Reinert, PE, Staff Engineer <br /> DATE: June 20, 2017 <br /> SUBJECT: Eno EDD and Hillsborough Area EDD Communications with Public and <br /> Property Owners <br /> Three separate communications with the public concerning the progress of the <br /> infrastructure projects in the Eno Economic Development District (EDD) and the <br /> Hillsborough Area EDD will be sent in June 2017: <br /> 1. Eno EDD Community Meeting Notice <br /> 2. Hillsborough Area EDD Survey and Soil Testing Notice <br /> 3. Hillsborough Area EDD Community Meeting Notice <br /> Community meetings for both EDD infrastructure projects have been scheduled for July <br /> 2017. The Eno EDD meeting is on July 18th at 6PM at the Eno Fire Department Station <br /> No. 1. Representatives from the City of Durham and our engineering consultant, CDM <br /> Smith, will be at the Eno EDD meeting. <br /> The Hillsborough Area EDD Meeting is on July 25th at 6PM at the Durham Technical <br /> Community College Orange County Campus Building in Room 201. Representatives <br /> from the Town of Hillsborough and our engineering consultant, McAdams, will be at the <br /> Hillsborough Area EDD meeting. <br /> These meetings will provide a brief history on the project as well as an update on the <br /> current status. The community meetings serve as a forum to inform residents and <br /> property owners of the next steps and allow time for any questions to be answered and <br /> addressed. <br /> A total of 38 property owners, representing 60 parcels, will be notified for the Eno EDD <br /> community meeting and a total of 45 property owners, representing 65 parcels, will be <br /> notified for the Hillsborough Area EDD. <br /> Additional communications with residents and property owners in both the Eno EDD <br /> and the Hillsborough Area EDD will be forthcoming as additional design work is <br />
