Would like to give back to the community in a volunteer capacity; Am <br />interested in promoting responsible and sustainable growth and preserving natural areas; <br />Have strong interest in supporing human services; As a long time resident of Orange <br />County, I have a good understanding of the many human, geographic, and <br />environmental considerations that figure into growth and development in our area, <br />I would really appreciate the opporttanity to serve in some capacity, I have a strong <br />interest in the content area of both boards I have listed on this application. (I recently <br />applied for the NTA Advisory Committee and the Unified Transportation Advisory Board <br />and was not selected far either,)----------------------I will become a resident of Carrboro on <br />Jan 1 2006. I was asked to apply for the OUT Bd by Karen Lincoln. I would like to give <br />back to the community in a volunteer capacity; I am sincerely interested in promoting <br />healthy growth and in minimizing the impact (am interested in Planning Board, <br />Commission for the Environment, and NTA Board, I live directly in front of the <br />intersection under study and understand the issues involved. I have been at home with <br />small children for the past 8 years, (Last job was home health nurse in Orange and <br />Durham Counties, Also have MAT Social Studies from UNG-CH, I have varied <br />committee experience, I am goad at eliciting input, assessing and integrating data, and <br />reaching consensus opinion; I have a general knowledge of prominent environmental <br />and growth issued and I am eager to learn more, STAFF COMMENTS: Reapplied for <br />OUT Bd 11/17/2005, Reapplied for the Carrboro NTA Adv.
