I have animal knowledge due to my extensive experience with both dog rescue <br /> and horse rescue. I have fostered over 30 dogs both in litters and singles in 4 years. I think it is <br /> worth noting that I have only adopted 2 of these, with the rest being successfully placed by the <br /> individual rescues. I also have 2 horses of my own and work with Safe Haven to foster horses <br /> that need time to heal from either wounds, neglect, or because owners for whatever reason <br /> have realized that they can no longer care for them properly. I am a real estate agent/broker <br /> ,and although my license has been inactive for 2 years due to other obligations I realize that <br /> property values can be negatively affected if zoning regulations and ordinances are not in place/ <br /> enforced. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I feel that with my diverse background I can objectively view all aspects and positions of cases <br /> that are brought before the board. I can listen, analyze and evaluate each case for human <br /> safety, animal safety and rights of property owners. I am equally passionate about all of the <br /> above and I realize each case has its own unique circumstances . I will judge each case based <br /> on its individual merits. <br />
