A physical inventory of the property must be taken and the <br /> results reconciled with the property records at least once every two years. Adequate <br /> safeguards to prevent loss, damage or theft; and adequate maintenance procedures <br /> must be developed to keep the property in good condition. <br /> At a minimum, Recipient must provide insurance coverage for real property and <br /> equipment acquired or improved with Federal funds equivalent to insurance provided <br /> for other property owned by the Recipient, and acceptable to the Agency. <br /> Recipient must notify and obtain approval from the Agency before disposing of any <br /> real property or equipment,and must maintain property standards for real and personal <br /> property, including equipment and supplies, in accordance with 2 CFR Part 200, <br /> Subpart D. <br /> Additional requirements related to methods of procurement, standards of conduct, <br /> open and free competition, price analysis, avoiding real or apparent conflicts of <br /> interest in project transactions, access to contractor records, unnecessary or <br /> duplicative items, and equal employment opportunity are applicable.
