I previously worked in <br /> Raleigh as a land use attorney and have experience with preparing and presenting cases before <br /> the Raleigh BOA, the Raleigh City Council, and the Wake County BOA, as well as ample <br /> experience reading and interpreting the Raleigh and Durham city ordinances and <br /> comprehensive plans. In addition to my legal degree, I have a masters in city and regional <br /> planning from UNC. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> When I was in law school at UNC, I acquired an interest in land use, planning, and zoning. I <br /> supplemented my law degree with a masters in city and regional planning, also from UNC. I <br /> moved from Durham to the Hillsborough area of Orange County in December 2016. From my <br /> education and work experience in land use, I understand the importance of the BOA decisions <br /> and the effect they can have on the community.
