Bids received were from <br /> Moffat Pipe Inc., Carolina Civilworks Inc., and Garney Companies, Inc. <br /> Moffat Pipe Inc. is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the project with a base <br /> bid of$4,782,436.00. The bid was within 0.25% of the Engineer's opinion of probable <br /> construction cost. Evaluation of Moffat Pipe Inc.'s responsibility is to be based on <br /> supplemental information to be provided. URS Corporation — North Carolina <br /> recommends that Orange County award Moffat Pipe Inc. the contract for the Historic <br /> Rogers Road Sanitary Sewer Expansion Project in the amount of$4,782,436.00, <br /> contingent upon evidence of responsibility in providing the supplemental information <br /> requested. <br /> A certified bid tabulation is enclosed.
