9
Association has focused much of its work on the creation and expansion of five public parks,
but also owns and manages conservation lands. In addition, the Association works with willing
landowners to protect their property while retaining ownership through the use of
conservation easement agreements.
The Eno River Association and Orange County have collaborated on a number of conservation
projects and currently co-hold three farmland protection conservation easements, with a fourth
scheduled to close on June 6.
Please let me know if you have questions about this request or need additional information.
We appreciate consideration of funding for this project by the county and look forward to
continuing our productive working partnership.
Sincerely,
Robin Jacobs
Executive Director
3
