This proposal contains a summary of relevant <br /> information as ECS understands it, a project schedule, and the estimated costs for completion of the <br /> proposed work. <br /> PROJECT UNDEIF STANCHNG <br /> ECS understands the subject site consists of two adjoining parcels located at 125 Court Street in <br /> Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina.The property is further identified by the Orange County <br /> Online GIS Database as the following Parcel Identification Number (PIN): Parcel 1 -9874068114 (1.05 <br /> acres), and Parcel 2 -9874069059 (0.35 acres). We understand the property is currently developed. The <br /> existing development consists of a 2-to 3-story main structure with a 2-story annex building to the <br /> immediate north. The buildings currently serve as the active Orange County Jail facility. <br /> The new development planned for the site will consist of demolishing the existing Jail and constructing <br /> a new facility in its place. The development is also planned to include construction of a walking tunnel <br /> that will run underneath East Margaret Lane and connect the new jail facility to existing Orange County <br /> Courthouse located to south. The new tunnel will serve as the primary transport route for escorting <br /> prisoners from the holding cells to the courtroom. The project is currently still in the conceptual phase <br /> and plans have not been generated at this time. Information regarding the building construction type, <br /> size, height, positioning on this site, and foundation loads is currently not availaible. ECS understands <br /> that geotechnical services and a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment are requested for this site. <br /> SCOPE OF SEIF VIA';„ES <br /> Geotechnical Services <br /> The purpose of this exploration is to determine the site subsurface conditions and provide geotechnical <br /> recommendations for the future development.
