Details are outlined below— Fees-Geotechnical Services: Based on our understanding of the project and the scope of work set forth above, our lump sum fee for the geotechnical services will be$6,550.00. The above fees and our schedule assume that ECS has full access to the site and is not required to encounter standby time or wait on others to gain access to our drilling locations. If these problems are encountered, you will be charged the additional time plus the additional charges in accordance with our attached Fee Schedule. Fees- Phase I ESA Based on the above outlined scope of services, ECS can perform the Phase I ESA for a lump sum fee of $2,100.00. ASSI„UMPTIONS • Engineering design and plan preparation/copying services will be provided by others; • Traditional professional surveying services (e.g., base map production) and certification by a Registered Land Surveyor(RLS)will be provided by others; • ECS will provide permitting services under a separate Scope of Services; • Attendance at additional meetings, beyond those described in the above Scope of Services, will be provided as additional services on a time-and-materials basis; • The lump sum fee does not include the cost for obtaining Environmental Liens or AULs from a third party provider (see Question 1 on the Attached User Questionnaire for the Phase I ESA). Please forward the results of the Environmental Liens and AUL search for our review and incorporation into the Phase I ESA report. Failure to procure this information may preclude CERCLA liability protections; • If you would prefer, ECS can obtain Environmental Liens or AULs from a third party provider for an additional fee of$250.00 per parcel for the subject site. Please note, it may take approximately two to four weeks upon authorization to procure this information; • ECS can obtain a title search for an additional fee of$250.00 per parcel for the subject site. Please note, it may take approximately two to four weeks upon authorization to procure this information. • If requested, ECS can provide reliance letters for our reports for an additional fee of$350.00 per letter; and • Please note the ASTM standard indicates that regulatory agency files available for the subject site or adjoining properties should be reviewed and failure to do so may result in data gaps in our report. The lump sum fee offered for the Phase I ESA does not include expanded reviews of regulatory files which are not available electronically, or if the file information may not be reasonably ascertainable within the project schedule. If properties are identified on federal or state regulatory lists, and if requested as an additional service, ECS will contact you.
