Ben's brother Barrett, the maintenance supervisor, and Ben are always innovating
new ways to process, and creating new end products that we can utilize to ensure we stay zero waste. Being local also
means the revenue generated at NRTR stays in NC, and creates more jobs in NC,stimulating the local economy. We
employ 18 people here in NC.
It is an exciting time at NRTR because of the growth we are seeing and the innovative and creative processes that have
been developed. We have expanded our end markets in such a way that we are aggressively going after waste tires as a
feed stock. As an example, when the metal market went down,we went from making good money to losing money
after we paid for shipping. Through hard work and product development we are now making money on our tire wire
again even though metal prices are still down.
