If a "no-rise" result is possible (meaning a <br /> "no-impact" result is not possible), then a Letter of Map Revision <br /> (LOMR) submittal may be required after construction is complete if <br /> flood reductions are more than 0.1 foot OR if floodway locations or <br /> widths change. A LOMR package and submittal is not included <br /> within the scope of services of this Agreement, and would be quoted <br /> if required. If neither a "no-impact" or"no-rise" is possible, then the <br /> project must be permitted through the Letter of Map Change Process <br /> (CLOMR followed by LOMR). This LOMC process is not included <br /> within the scope of this Agreement. <br /> TASK 7 FEE: $33,430 <br /> TASK 8—BIDDING AND AWARD <br /> Bidding and Award Assistance — Provide the following services to assist <br /> Orange County and the Town of Hillsborough with the construction <br /> contract formal bidding and award process in accordance with NCGS <br /> 143-129: <br /> -Prepare a bid advertisement (McAdams is not responsible for cost <br /> of advertising) <br /> -Distribute bid packages <br /> -Review questions and requests for clarification from contractors <br /> and issue addenda as necessary <br /> -Conduct a formal bid opening <br /> -Review contractors' bids for completeness, prepare a bid <br /> tabulation, and issue a recommendation of award <br /> -Prepare a Notice of Award to be issued to the contractor to be <br /> awarded the construction contract <br /> TASK 8 FEE: $6,000 <br /> FOR-17126 <br />
