DocuSign Envelope ID:B33C2AA1-09B9-433D-9621-57B8AAED14FB <br /> I la I 11 <br /> 1111 1,4n <br /> Mr. Howard Fleming, Jr., PE <br /> Orange County Planning and Inspections Department <br /> April 4, 2017 <br /> Page 3of10 <br /> Wastewater Capacity Study—This effort will include: <br /> -Obtaining information about the existing wastewater collection <br /> system from the Town of Hillsborough, including location, <br /> size, elevation, and material information <br /> -Estimate wastewater flows from properties to be served by the <br /> proposed water and sewer <br /> -Obtain water consumption data to determine existing wastewater <br /> collection flow information <br /> -Model the proposed sewer system using SewerCAD from the <br /> proposed pipeline to Cates Creek Outfall connection point <br /> -Confirm downstream available wastewater collection system <br /> capacity based on model results and local/State requirements <br /> Preliminary Design Report — This effort will include a preliminary design <br /> meeting with NCDOT, development of pipeline routes, confirmation <br /> of easements needed, development of a preliminary construction cost <br /> opinion, submittal of a draft preliminary design report (including <br /> reports from Subtasks 1.1 and 1.2), review meeting, and final <br /> preliminary design report following review comments. <br /> TASK 1 FEE: $24,200 <br /> TASK 2 —PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT <br /> Community Meeting Assistance — Following Subtask 1.3, assist Orange <br /> County with one community meeting to convey information to <br /> affected property owners regarding proposed pipeline routing and to <br /> answer questions about the project. McAdams will provide foam- <br /> board exhibits in color with aerial photographic background and <br /> other visual aids as necessary to effectively depict the proposed water <br /> and sanitary sewer pipeline extensions. McAdams will also <br /> participate in the meeting as necessary. It is assumed that Orange <br /> County will be responsible for advertising the community meeting, <br /> sending letters of invitation, and securing a meeting site. <br /> TASK 2 FEE: $1,000 <br /> TASK 3 —SITE SURVEY AND ASSESSMENT <br /> Stream & Wetland Delineation — Complete a detailed investigation of the <br /> Phase 1 Water & Sewer Extension Project Area for jurisdictional <br /> waters of the U.S. and any waters subject to Neuse River Riparian <br /> Buffer Rules.
