We are only successful together.
I understand there is a current vacancy for an ex-officio representative appointed by the Town
Manager from the Town of Chapel Hill to work in tandem with your board leadership, including
additional Orange County municipality staff and representatives.
I would like to reappoint former Town Council Member Lee Storrow for another tem!, expiring
in December 2018. Lee's dedication and passion for our community makes him a tremendous
asset and lam looking forward to seeing his continued accomplishments.
Lee Storrow has been instrumental in representing the Town's tourism interests and I understand
he remains committed to working with area businesses to continue to strengthen the Orange
County tourism industry. His "slice of Orange" series on social media has been a great example
of sharing our community story in a new and creative way.
Thank you for considering Lee for this position.
Please let me know when this appointment is continued by the BOCC.
Sincerely,
e
Roger Stancil
Town Manager
