The proposal is for an Alternative School in Orange County on a 20.8 acre tract, directly across <br />194 from Stanback Middle School on NC 86 and Storey Lane. The proposal's Phase 1 is for a school <br />195 building, including classrooms and office space. There are 19 parking spaces shown, with a school <br />196 capacity for 50 children. Phase 2 will include tennis courts and a softball field, which are across from the <br />197 fields at Stanback. The proposal is for the school year opening in 2006 -07. The packet includes a small <br />198 version of the site plan. The Planning Board tonight is to hear the staff recommendations and make their <br />199 recommendations to the BOCC. The resolution of approval is on p, 24 -25. Staff'requests <br />200 recommendation to the BOCC for the item to be heard at the upcoming Public Hearing.
