I have a strong <br />interest in the content area of both boards I have listed on this application, (I recently <br />applied for the NTA Advisory Committee and the Unified Transportation Advisory Board <br />and was not selected for either,)----------------------I will become a resident of Carrboro on <br />Jan 1 2006, I was asked to apply far the OUT Bd by Karen Lincoln. I would like to give <br />back to the community in a volunteer capacity; I am sincerely interested in promoting <br />healthy growth and in minimizing the impact (am interested in Planning Board, <br />Commission for the Environment, and NTA Board. I live directly in front of the <br />intersection under study and understand the issues involved, I have been at home with <br />small children for the past 8 years, (Last job was home health nurse in Orange and <br />Durham Counties. Also have MAT Social Studies from UNC-CH, I have varied <br />committee experience, I am good at eliciting input, assessing and integrating data, and <br />reaching consensus opinion; I have a general knowledge of prominent environmental <br />and growth issued and I am eager to learn more, STAFF COMMENTS: Reapplied for <br />OUT Bd 11/17/2005, Reapplied for the Carrboro NTA Adv, Board. 6/22/2005.
