Presentation and Public Hearing on the Draft Orange County Transit Plan <br /> 34 The Board received a presentation on the draft Orange County Transit Plan (formerly <br /> 35 the Bus and Rail Investment Plan in Orange County) and the draft cost share agreement <br /> 36 between Durham and Orange County on the Durham-Orange Light Rail Project; and to conduct <br /> 37 a public hearing on the Draft Plan following the presentation. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Rich to open <br /> 40 the public hearing. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Travis Myren said the current transit plan contains some assumptions about the cost <br /> 45 share agreement between Durham and Orange counties. He said these discussions are <br /> 46 continuing, and the Board will have two additional options to review at Thursday night's <br /> 47 meeting. He said these options would bring the cost share down from 18/82% to 16.5/83.5%, <br /> 48 and the financial advisors will have reviewed all options in advance of the meeting. He said <br /> 49 Thursday's meeting will also provide a final draft of the cost share agreement between the two <br />
