Homeless System Map Including <br /> System Gaps <br /> PURPOSE: To receive a report on the 2016 activities of the Orange County Partnership to End <br /> Homelessness (OCPEH) and also review the homeless service system map. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness was created in 2008 <br /> to coordinate funding and activities to end homelessness in Orange County. OCPEH is jointly <br /> funded by Orange County (39%) and the Towns of Carrboro (15%), Chapel Hill (41%), and <br /> Hillsborough (5%). <br /> Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness Coordinator Corey Root, and OCPEH Board <br /> Chair Allison De Marco will provide a brief presentation at the meeting and present the <br /> homeless service system map including current system gaps. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with receiving the report. <br /> In addition to utilizing office space at the Link Government Services Center, OCPEH received <br /> $35,667 for FY2016-2017 from Orange County. The total OCPEH budget for FY 2016-2017 is <br /> $119,043. OCPEH is requesting $43,096 in FY2017-2018 from Orange County, and the full <br /> requested budget from all four jurisdictions totals $170,502. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are applicable <br /> to this item: <br /> • GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY CULTURE THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION AND <br /> INEQUITY <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or color; <br /> religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national origin or <br />
