HSAC thanks the BOCC for its financial support through the years for conducting the annual <br />forum. Also, it was through permission of the BOCC that HSAC was able to direct one hundred <br />percent of Forum 2005 registration proceeds to the local non-profits, Interfaith Council and <br />Orange Congregations in Mission, largely involved in homelessness prevention and assistance. <br />Each non-profit received a check in the amount of $557 last October. <br />Copies of the Fon~m 2005 report - in either DVD or VHS format -are available to the public <br />and participants upon request in the nominal amount of $5,00 to cover postage and handling. <br />Please contact Corinthia Barber in the County Manager's Office at 245-2301 ore-mail <br />cbarber@co.orange.nc.us. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Acceptance of the Forum 2005 final report as information involves no <br />commitment of County finances. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board accept the report from <br />the Human Services Advisory Commission on Forum 2005. <br />
